Fiber-reinforced composites have several indications in restorative and prosthetic dentistry and amongst them, a cost effective way to replace missing teeth. A thorough knowledge of material properties and principles of adhesive dentistry are key issues in successful treatment outcomes when using FRCs. This lecture aims to give an insight into the scientific background and clinical performance of FRC FDPs.
